The Black Pig!

A cool window sign from the Black Pig restaurant in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland, Oh. (near West Side Market).  I really liked the sign so I took a photo.  Not sure who the artist is but it's a very good sketchy type drawing.

Yet more progress on the Obama caricature.  Again, as you can see by the date on the photo it's pretty old.  There's a stark difference between the basic lines sketched out and the much more finished look of the rendered b&w values side by side.

I thought I would post a photo from the beginning of the Obama drawing.  As you can see by the date on the pic it's from nearly two years ago.

President Obama

A pencil caricature drawing of President Obama for 'Exaggerated Features' which is a quarterly publication for ISCA (International Society of Caricature Artists) members.  Members can submit their art to be included in the magazine.  His face offers so many opportunities for exaggeration.
