Still Blogging

Yes, I'm still blogging.  It's embarrassing how long it's been since my last post. The whole December thing hits pretty hard and before you know it your behind on stuff you should be doing.  That's my lame excuse anyway.  Sometimes I like to take older drawings and tweak them a little and the pic here is one I "adjusted".  Still could use some TLC.

Akron, Ohio Comic Con

I paid a visit to the Akron ComicCon this past weekend.  In my opinion it was well worth the $10.00 admission price.  If you're used to the larger ComicCons like Wizard World this one was much smaller but still had a variety of vendors.  I like meeting other artists and getting inspired by all the talent on display.  Yeah, for $10.00 I'll be going again.

98 and feeling great

Here's another quick caricature from the same event as the last couple except this charming lady is a tad older.

75 years and going strong

I met this young couple at an event recently and they really inspired me.  The lady is 92 and her husband is 95.  They have been married for 75 years!  She is as chipper as most people I know that's half her age.  This is the great thing about creating live drawings at parties, you get to meet wonderful folks like these!
